The Engineering Department is acquiring right-of-way needed for the future Collin County Outer Loop/State Highway 289 interchange. Accordingly, we have made offers to the affected property owners based on appraisal. Commissioner’s Court previously authorized the use of eminent domain, if necessary, to acquire these parcels.
Commissioners Court’s consideration of this counter offer is requested and we will be available to answer any questions you might have regarding this matter.
