Department Action

The Collin County District Attorney will use up to $1,500.00 from the District Attorney Federal Forfeiture Special Revenue Fund (Fund 1060) for ammunition for firearms training for District Attorney personnel.

This use of Fund 1060 for this purpose is specifically authorized by the Guide to Equitable Sharing for State, Local, and Tribal Law Enforcement Agencies, July 2018 Addition “The Guide”. The Guide “pre-approve[s]” expenses for: (b) Law Enforcement Training and Education; and (d) Law Enforcement Equipment. (Pages 14 & 15)
