This is notification of establishing the budget for the Sheriff’s Office Crime Victim Advocate Program for FY 2019 in the amount of $126,000. This federal funding is provided through the Office of the Governor (OOG) Criminal Justice Division (CJD).  The grant period is from October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2020. The grant award was accepted on Court Order # 2018-962-11-05.

Per attached budget amendment for the FY 2019 - 20 General Victims Assistance Grant in the amount of $126,000 with a Collin County in-kind match in the amount of $31,500.  First in-kind match is on AI-45785.  Federal Grant to be used to fund the salary and benefits for a full time position for two years. The current FY 2019 salary and benefits for this position is $65,188.

Budget has been entered in the amount of $126,000 as per attached. Grant period is 10/1/2018 through 9/30/2020.
