Department Action

On September 27, 2010, via Commissioners Court, CO# 2010-760-09-27, approved an Agreement to Contribute Funds – Local Government with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for 10% Right of Way participation on FM455 from US75 to SH5 (bond project 03117C). In 2010, the County’s estimated participation totaled $250,000.

The Texas Department of Transportation has completed the right of way acquisition and utilities adjustments. The final total cost is $958,690.99 more than the original estimate. The County’s participation is 10% per the agreement approved in September 2010. Therefore, Collin County has a balance of $95,869.10 currently due.

We seek Commissioners Court approval of this payment and the following budget adjustment to pay the remaining balance:
