Department Action

Staff is requesting that the Maintenance Bond requirements in the current Collin County Subdivision Regulations be changed from a 10%, 2-year Bond to a 100%, 2-year bond. We would like to make this change ahead of the larger subdivision regulations update due to the amount of development that is occurring presently. If further changes to the maintenance bond are requested as a result of the regulations discussion, we will incorporate those into the larger update.
The appropriate public notification was completed per Local Government Code requirements.
Staff will be present for questions.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court Hold a Public Hearing to hear input regarding the proposed changes to the Collin County Subdivision Regulations and further approve the proposed changes.
