Department Action

The Texas Administrative Code Title 13 mandates the recording of radio communications. Initially, 20 talk group recording licenses were purchased in the contract. We need to add 40 additional licenses. Total cost for this addition is $13,681.00.

Note: This purchase is related to the new radio system. The original order was placed in 2017 for 20 talk groups, po 217818 for $39,257.73. After fleet mapping it was determined that 60 talk groups are needed resulting in adding an additional 40 talk groups $13,681.00. New total $52,938.73.
