The Collin County Sheriff’s Office respectfully request ratification of the Judge’s prior approval to apply for a grant through the Project Safe Neighborhoods Program. The performance period for the grant is October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020, with a grant deadline of April 24, 2019. We are requesting $124,863 in grant funding with no county match required.

FY 2020 Project Safe Neighborhoods Program through the Office of the Governor Criminal Justice Division. Federal funding in the amount of $124,863 with no county match required. Funding to be used to purchase license plate readers and surveillance equipment to support disruption of drug and drug related crimes, human trafficking and child exploitation. County would be responsible for maintaining the equipment as well as the annual cost of the air card required. Grant term is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

Ratification of grant application for Grant for Equipment (license plate readers and surveillance equipment) to support disruption of drug / drug-related crimes, human smuggling / trafficking, and child exploitation. Grant period is 10/1/2019 through 9/30/2020. Application in the amount of $124,863 in federal funds with no required match.
