Department Action

The Engineering Department requests that the contract with Jacobs Engineering for services relating to design of the CCOL east bound (southern) service road be increased by $9,019.60.

This increase is due to Jacobs omission of two (2) line items from their initial fee proposal. A letter from Jacobs explain this situation along with detailed backup is attached.

Commissioners Courts approval of this contract amendment is requested and I will be available to answer any questions you might have regarding this matter.

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of amendment No.1 to the contract with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., AGR 2019-269, PS&E for the Collin County Outer Loop Segment 3B from Preston Rd. (SH 289) to Custer Rd. (SH 2478), due to their omission of two (2) lines from their initial fee proposal in the amount of $9,019.60. Further authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute same. MD
