Department Action

Pursuant to Commissioners Court Order 2019-556-07-15, the Engineering Department requests Commissioners Court’s authorization to sell two (2) surplus right-of-way tract adjacent to State Highway 78 for the appraised value shown below:

1.226 Acres located at the northwest corner of State Highway No. 78 and
Marble Street – Appraised Value $294,000

0.359 Acres located at the southwest corner of State Highway No. 78 and
Marble Street – Appraised Value $75,000

The purchaser, which is the Wylie EDC, is responsible for all closing costs and other fees associated with this transaction. If approved, we request authorization for Judge Hill to execute any related contracts, closing documents or deeds on the County’s behalf.
