Department Action

This is notification to establish a budget for the 2019 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) in the amount of $89,799.47. The grant is federal funding passed thru the Texas Division of Emergency Management and is used to fund a portion of the salary and fringe benefits for the Assistant Emergency Management Coordinators. The term of the grant is October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019. Due to delay in receiving the grant payments, salary/fringe budget could not be set up and moved until FY 2020. The grant was approved in Commissioners Court on court order 2019-1172-12-16

Auditor's Office Action

Budget amendment has been entered as per attached in the amount of $89,799.47. Federal funds with a required in kind county match in the amount of $89,799.47. Grant period is October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019. Grant funds were delayed in reimbursement which is the reason for the delay in the budget and receipt of funds.
