Department Action

The Collin County Information Technology department and the Collin County District Clerk are requesting approval of an amendment to the May 15, 2019 Amendment to add Odyssey Jury. This request reflects a pivot to Tyler Jury Manager (formerly Courthouse Technologies), which was recently acquired by Tyler Technologies and represents functionality and usability superior to that of the intended Odyssey Jury procured in the May 15, 2019 Amendment. Funding for the new Jury system was approved in the FY2019 Budget.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding Amendment to the Tyler Technologies Master Service Agreement to terminate the May 2019 Amendment (Court Order No. 2019-336-05-07) in its entirety and add Tyler Jury software, formerly Courthouse Technologies, (collectively “Tyler Jury Manager Software”) the Odyssey Jury software module and authorize Purchasing Agent to execute same. sh

Tyler Technologies is the sole source provider for Odyssey Software System per Court Order 2015-714-09-28.

Request to terminate Amendment from May 2019 (CO 2019-336-05-07) entirely from the Tyler Technologies Master Service Agreement and add in its place Tyler Jury Manager in the amount of $163,782. Budgeted funds available in the adopted FY 2019 Jury Management Project. General Fund (0001).
