The Collin County Sheriff’s Office respectfully requests approval of funds set aside for Over Time reimbursement regarding the U. S. Marshals Task Force MOU. The amount has increased to $15,000.00.

FY 2020 US Marshal Service Violent Offender Task Force grant in the amount ot $15,000 in federal funds for overtime of Sheriff’s Office deputies for the investigation and apprehension of local, state and federal fugitives who have warrants out for their arrest. Grant period is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant contract reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Federal funds in the amount of $15,000 for overtime of Sheriff’s Office deputies. No county match is required. Intent of this joint MOU is to investigate and apprehend local, state and federal fugitives who have warrants for their arrests, thereby improving public safety and reducing violent crime. Grant period is 10/1/2019 through 9/30/2020.
