Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding the approval of an exemption to the bid process per V.T.C.A. LGC 262.024 (a)(2) "an item necessary to preserve or protect the public health or safety fo the residents fo the county", for all purchases related to COVID-19, up to $250,000. This request complies with federal procurement requirements found in 2 C.F.R. items 200-317-200.326 related to the expenditur of grant funds.
