FYI to Commissioners' Court for Change Order No.3 to Expert Services for IFB 2019-084, Construction, Collin County Justice Center, Replacement of Chilled Water Actuators and Valves.
PCO 3- Owner requested credit to reverse the majority of Change Order 2 from the scope of work. During demolition of the existing insulation a suspicious substance was found and tested. Work on change order 2 was halted and then determined to have changed significantly due to remediation being needed by a licensed contractor. Some labor and material was used prior to halting the work and only material used was charged to us. ($18,338.80)
Total for this Change Order- ($18,338.80) or 11.78% of contract
Total Change Orders for the Project- $16,911.66 or 10.86% of contract
This change order was previously approved by the County Administrator per Court Order No. 2007-180-02-27.
