Department Action

Collin County, Town of Prosper and the City of Celina have determined that the inspection of construction improvements to Frontier Pkwy may be completed and maintained most economically by implementing this Interlocal Agreement. The Town of Prosper and the City of Celina will each provide a City Inspector that will share primary responsibilities for the construction inspection for the duration of the project. Duties and responsibilities of the construction inspection have been outlined in Exhibit “A” of this agreement.

The Town of Prosper and the City of Celina agree to fund the construction inspection services by providing their own City Inspector to perform the work; therefore no compensation exchange will occur with this agreement and there will be no cost to Collin County.

Action:
It is requested that the Commissioners Court approve the Interlocal Agreement with Collin County, Town of Prosper and the City of Celina, authorize execution by the County Judge.

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an interlocal agreement between Collin County, the Town of Prosper and the City of Celina related to construction inspection services of Frontier Parkway from the Dallas North Tollway to Preston Road (SH 289). Further, authorize the County Judge to execute same. MD

Interlocal agreement with the Town of Prosper and the City of Celina for construction inspection services for Frontier Parkway from the Dallas North Tollway to Preston Road (SH 289). The Town of Prosper and City of Celina will be using their own inspectors instead of contracting out the inspections. There will be no cost to Collin County for these services.
