Department Action

Respectfully request the Commissioners' Court to approve the re-allocation of funds for the FY 2021 Health Care Annex HVAC replacement project to four new projects that have been requested in the FY 2022 Permanent Improvement Budget. It has been determined that the original project is no longer needed. All the requested projects are recommended to get started now instead of waiting till FY 2022. Projects included are HVAC replacements for Elections, Public Works, and the Medical Examiner's Building as well as coolers and freezers in the Jail's main kitchen. The remaining funds not needed for the four new projects is recommended to be placed in contingency.
