Collin County has been approved to receive the 2020 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG). Collin County Emergency Management has completed the task requirements and is seeking to finalize the close out of the 2020 EMPG grant year.

I respectfully ask the court to consider and ratify the 2020 EMPG grant award.

FY 2020 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Award in the amount of $103,585.81 with an in-kind match of $103,585.81 for a program total of $207,171.62. Grant will fund a portion of the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator’s salary and benefits as well as training. Grant period is October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2021.

Auditor's Office Action

Original grant application had been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant award in the amount of $103,585.81 in federal funds with a county match of $103,585.81 required. Grant period is 10/1/2019 through 3/31/2021.
