Department Action

The Collin County Commissioners Court allocated $1,900,000 from the 2007 Bond program. In 2008, an ILA was approved for $225,000 for engineering of the above referenced project, leaving a balance of $1,675,000.

The project is under construction however the project limits have been truncated due to funding availability. The project widens the existing 2-lane rural road to a 4-lane urban roadway from US 380 for approximately 3,900 linear feet to the north and to the east surrounding the Collin College new Farmersville campus.

The city is also requesting to reallocate the balance of $75,000 that remains on their 2007 Bond project #RI07021, Floyd St. from US 380 to Old Josephine Rd. The associated Budget Adjustment will be as follows:

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of:

The Interlocal Agreement with the City of Farmersville for Bond Project #RI07020, Farmersville Parkway (CR 611) improvements. Collin County not to exceed participation in this ILA will be $1,750,000; and
Approve the associated Budget Adjustment; and
Authorize Judge Hill to sign the ILA.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an interlocal agreement between Collin County and the City of Farmersville concerning the construction of Farmersville Parkway (CR 611) improvements; 2007 Bond Project RI07020 and approve budget adjustment to reallocate funds. Further, authorize the County Judge to execute same. MD

Collin County's participation shall not exceed $1,750,000.

Budget adjustment in the amount of $75,000 is included to re-allocate it from RI07021, Floyd St. from US 380 to Old Josephine Rd. County participation is not to exceed $1,750,000. 2007 Bond Funds (4210 & 4211).
