Department Action

Collin County is actively acquiring Right of Way (ROW) for the Park Blvd. Project. One of the parcels that we need for the project is a 0.2157 acres tract owned by the City of Wylie. In addition to the 0.2157 acre tract, the County is seeking a 0.0723 acre temporary construction easement. See attached exhibit map.

Furthermore, as part of the project, Forrest Ross Rd. will be abandoned. Half this ROW or 0.3364 acres will be conveyed to the City of Wylie.

ACTION:
Approval of the attached Resolution with the City of Wylie, allow the Judge to sign the Resolution and the attached Special Warranty Deed for Parcel 39-2 (0.3364 acres) being conveyed to the City of Wylie.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of a Resolution between the City of Wylie and Collin County concerning a cooperative transfer of property for the mutual benefit of both parties and further allow the County Judge to sign the Resolution and the attached Special Warranty Deed for Parcel 39-2 (0.3364 acres). MD
