Department Action

The city of Allen received 2007 Bond Project funding for 2007 Bond Project RI 070035, Alma Drive from Hedgcoxe Drive to SH 121. This project is complete and there is $306,106 remaining in the account.

The city of Allen is asking for permission to reallocate the remaining funds to Ridgeview Drive from Alma Drive to Watters Branch Creek. The Project shall consist of constructing Ridgeview Drive’s two additional lanes as a 4-lane divided arterial from Alma Drive to Watters Branch Creek. The Interlocal Agreement has been approved by the City of Allen and is attached.

A new project code RI070072 will be set up as a result of this request and a budget adjustment will also be required to move the funding and is as follows:

$306,106 FROM RI070035-4210-750300013-809280 TO RI070072-4210-750300013-809280.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners’ Court consider approval of:
1) The Interlocal Agreement with the City of Allen for construction of Ridgeview Drive from Alma to Watters Branch Creek for $306,106 and;
2) Approve the associated budget adjustment to move the funding into the new Project Code.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the City of Allen concerning the construction of Ridgeview Drive from Alma Drive to Watters Branch Creek, 2007 Bond Project RI070072, and budget adjustment for same. Further, authorize the County Judge to execute same. MD

The County's participation is a NTE $306,106.00.
