Attached for approval is the DSHS no-cost amendment to the IDCU/COVID-19 grant contract. DSHS has increased the contract award amount by $570,348.00 and extended the grant term to end on 07/31/2023. The new total budget for the grant award will amount to $1,026,626.00 for the grant period 08/20/2020 – 07/31/2023. The purpose of the grant is to support the Health Department's COVID-19 disease investigation & surveillance duties. No match is required from the county for this contract.

Amendment No. 1 to DSHS IDCU/COVID-19 Grant Contract to increase the contract award amount by $570,348 and extend the grant term. The new total budget for the grant award is $1,026,626 with no County match required. Funding will cover two (2) existing Epidemiologist positions, one (1) new Epidemiologist, and (1) new Epidemiologist Intern position as well as training and travel, supplies and other operating expenses. Contract term is August 20, 2020 through July 31, 2023. (2108)-HC Grants Fund.
