Final design and right of way acquisition are almost complete for phase 1 which is from US 380 (near Boorman Rd in Princeton) to CR 393 (near FM 546 in Lowry Crossing.) We anticipate bidding the project in Q1 2026.
In preparation for construction of the project, the Engineering Department requests approval of Contract Amendment #6 with BGE, Inc.
Amendment #6 includes:
- Addition of Construction Management Services which includes Pre-Construction Phase Services and 15 months of Construction management and Inspection services.
The total proposed fee for Amendment #6 is $1,135,202.35 for a contract total of $8,104,355.
Funds are available in 2023 Bond project account RI23004-4036-750300013-809280
Recommended Action:
- Approve contract Amendment #6 for Professional Engineering Services with BGE, Inc. for the FM 546 Project increasing the contract by $8,104,355.
