We believe awarding a primary and secondary contractor for electrical projects and emergency service that cannot be completed in-house would be beneficial to Collin County. Facilities is requesting Commissioners Court to approve:

Today’s Electric, Inc. as Primary Contractor
Live Systems as Secondary Contractor

We are providing sample projects Today’s Electric, Inc. completed for Collin County along with future projects:

Completed:

Emergency Chiller Electrical Installation - $46,658.82
Sheriff’s Office Light Pole Replacement - $154,907.99

Future Projects:

PIP – Light Pole Replacements
PIP – Multiple ATS Replacements

Emergencies:

Chiller / Generator electrical needs to rental connections

Annual costs should not exceed $150,000

FY23: $11,725.79

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to award Contract No. 2025-224, Large Electrical Projects and Emergency Services, through Collin County Community College District (CCCCD), Contract No. FY2025-ITB-012, per the attached documentation. The contract term begins upon date of award through March 31, 2026, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. slh
