This is a request to apply for FY 2023 State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) Grant. The grant would be used to fund salary and benefits for a full time Collin County Sheriff's Office Research Specialist for the Fusion Center. This grant would run from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023.

FY 2023 Collin County SHSP CIKR Grant application for 1 new position (addition to headcount by 1) at 532 grade federally funded at 100% if hired at minimum of pay grade. Grade, title and salary are subject to HR approval upon grant award. Grant term is September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023.

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant to fund salary and benefits for full time Sheriffs Office Research Specialist for the Fusion Center that will oversee Critical infrastructure. Federal funds in the amount of $61,856 with no county match required. Grant period is from 9/1/2022-8/31/2023.
