On January 3, 2022, Commissioners Court authorized staff to negotiate the sale of surplus right of way (0.0790 acres) just south of Wilmeth Rd. located in McKinney, TX (see attached Court Order 2022-027-01-03). The sale will be to the current owner of the surrounding land, W/J Wilmeth Ridge LP.
The purchaser is willing to pay the amount identified by the Collin County Appraisal District as the value of the land. That agreed amount is $10,376 (approximately $3.01/sq-ft). The purchaser is responsible for all closing costs and other fees associated with this transaction.
ACTION REQUESTED: It is requested that the Commissioners Court approve the sale of surplus right of way (0.0790 acres) just south of Wilmeth Rd. located in McKinney, TX to W/J Wilmeth Ridge LP for the value as shown by the Collin County Appraisal District and to authorize Bill Bilyeu, County Administrator, to execute any documents required for this transaction on the County’s behalf.
