This list of Standards for Construction and Facilities has been comprised with the input
from our Purchasing, Information Technology, Facilities and Construction Departments.
The intent of this document is to obtain Commissioner Court’s approval for the items
listed under Preferred Manufacturers, Preferred Service Providers, System Requirements,
and Office Sizes.
The items listed Preferred Manufacturers are available for competitive bid, various state
contracts and cooperatives. The Preferred Service Providers are providers with programs
that are specific to the County’s current security system and the detention electronic
security systems. Items listed under the standard system requirements are performance
requirements that we want to be achieved from the design and construction teams. These
items are in addition to any of the code requirements that are set forth by Local, State and
Federal entities.
