The Engineering staff and TxDOT have come to a tentative agreement for the sale of a parcel to TxDOT for the US 380 project. The County purchased a 7.448-acre tract of land from a parcel that fronts onto CR 406. This parcel is identified by TxDOT as P00081757. The tentative settlement is for $1,266,219 for the 7.448 acres. In addition, TxDOT is offering to enter into a Possession and Use Agreement (PUA) with the County and compensate the County in the amount of $25,000.
Action Recommended: It is recommended that the Commissioners Court approve the sale of Parcel P00081757 for the amount of $1,266,219, approve entering into a Possession and Use Agreement (PUA) for the compensation of $25,000 and authorize the County Judge to execute all documents necessary for closing of this transaction and the execution of the PUA agreement.
