This is a request to apply for FY 2023 General Victims Assistance Grant. The grant would be used to fund salary and benefits for a full time Collin County Sheriff's Office Crime Victim Advocate to provide victim advocacy services for violent crime victims and their families. This grant would run from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.

FY 2023 General Victim Assistance Grant in the amount of $75,726 (SO match of $3,888) for a program total of $79,614. Funding for the salary and fringe for existing Victim Assistance Coordinator in the Sheriff’s Office. (Tiffany Bland) Grant does not fully cover necessary funds and will need to be supplemented with the Sheriff’s Office budget. Grant term is October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.
