Within the next month, the developer of McKinney Horizon will begin construction to extend Hardin Boulevard, replacing the existing County Road 164 as a four lane concrete section. The four lane section will taper to two lanes at its connection to County Road 201 as shown on Exhibit A. The contractor will construct a new asphalt transition on CR 201. The McKinney City limit line runs along the center line of CR 164 and CR 201 as shown on Exhibit B. The associated portions of CR 164 and the prescriptive right of way will be removed and incorporated into the new Hardin Blvd in new right of way dedicated to the City of McKinney. At present the right of way of CR 201 will remain unchanged. Construction should be finished within one year.
