Information Department Action Due to the rising cost of food supplies, out-of-county inmate housing, and no longer utilizing Inmate Commissary Funds for kitchen expenses, the Jail Operations M&O Budget is projected to have a shortfall in FY 2023. We are respectfully requesting budget adjustments totaling $701,511 to reallocate existing budgeted Sheriff’s Office funds in order to cover a portion of this projected shortfall. Attached are the budget adjustments journal proofs 1344 and 1415. Purchasing Department Action No action by Purchasing. HR and/or IT Action Budget Department Action Budgeted funds available for a Budget Adjustment totaling $701,511.  See attached Budget Adjustments for details. General Fund (0001). Auditor's Office Action Funds available in the General Fund (0001).  Budget amendment will be processed upon approval. Commissioners Court $701,511 to increase Maintenance & Operations to cover FY2023 expenses for Jail Operations, Sheriff.
