NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Collin County Health Care Foundation Board of Trustees will meet in REGULAR SESSION. Following is the agenda for said meeting:

Call to order. The board will convene in open session for consideration of the following business matters:


			HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION BUSINESS:

1.			Consent Agenda Items:

	a.	AI-51767 Approved	Disbursements for the period ending March 8, 2022, Auditor.

	b.	AI-51773 Approved	Acceptance of the FY2023 Hazards/Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grant award through the Texas Department of State Health Services, Health Care.

	c.	AI-51774 Approved	Acceptance of the FY2023 Cities Readiness Initiative Grant award through the Texas Department of State Health Services, Health Care.

2.			Executive Session Items:

			Executive Session, in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Government Code.

Health Care is requesting the acceptance of the FY2023 Hazards grant contract for one year grant period 7/1/2022-6/30/2023 in the amount of $562,786 of level funding to support the County’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) activities. The County match required for this funding is $56,279 and will be met by using existing staff members’ salaries and fringe. The renewal application for this grant was approved on February 28, 2022, Agenda Item 51692.
Purchasing Department Action
Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to accept the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Hazards grant in the amount of $562,786 with a required in-kind match of $56,279, and authorize Board President to execute same. The grant period is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.

FY 2023 DSHS Hazards/Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Grant Application in the amount of $562,786 Grant application for three (3) existing grant positions (no increase to headcount) funded at 100%, 1 existing grant position (no increase to headcount) funded at 75% (25% funded by CRI Grant) and three (3) existing county positions (no increase to headcount) partially funded at 40%/50%/75%. Grant approval for three (3) existing grant positions (no increase to headcount) funded at 100%, one (1) existing grant position (no increase to headcount) funded at 75% (25% funded by CRI Grant) and three (3) existing county positions (no increase to headcount) partially funded at 40%/50%/75% as well as travel, supplies, and other costs including cell phones. Grant period is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.

The County match required for this funding is $13,343 and will be met by using existing Collin County staff members’ salary and fringe in addition to Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteer hours. The renewal application for this grant was approved on February 28, 2022, Agenda Item 51720.
