The sale will be to the current owner of the surrounding land, 1^st Quick Check Convenience Stores, Inc. The buyer is willing to pay the amount identified by the appraisal as the value of the land. That agreed amount is $9,000 (approximately $2.29/sq-ft). The purchaser is responsible for all closing costs and other fees associated with this transaction. ACTION REQUESTED: It is requested that the Commissioners Court approve the sale of surplus right of way (0.090 acres) adjacent to Old McKinney Rd. in Farmersville, TX to 1st Quick Check Convenience Stores, Inc. for the value as shown in the appraisal and to authorize Bill Bilyeu, County Administrator, to execute any documents required for this transaction on the County’s behalf.

In 2008, Collin County initiated a project to develop a Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) to comply with Federal and State regulations. With the help of our consultant, Jacobs Engineering, the engineering department developed a SWMP that consists of a series of Best Management Practices (BMPs), measurable goals and an implementation schedule. In June 2019, we submitted our Program Renewal to TCEQ which extended our permit for another 5 years or into Term 3. This new permit will expire in 2023. Each year we prepare a report for the TCEQ that details the previous year’s activities. This 2022 report outlining the 2021 activities is being presented to you for your review and approval. *ACTION:* Approval of the 2022 Storm Water Management Program Report outlining the 2021 activities and any applicable Notices of Change and allow Judge Hill to sign the supporting documentation for submittal to TCEQ.

The maintenance period is complete and the owner has completed the required repairs as requested by the Collin County Engineering and Public Works’ staff.
