The Commissioner’s Court must adopt the authorization order before February 15, 2019. In contrast to the traditional Fourth of July and December fireworks sales during which sales are permitted absent a finding by the court that drought conditions exist, for the three new fireworks periods the commissioners court has discretion as to whether or not the sales will be allowed.
