NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Collin County Health Care Foundation Board of Trustees will meet in REGULAR SESSION. Following is the agenda for said meeting:

Call to order. The board will convene in open session for consideration of the following business matters:


			HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION BUSINESS:

1.			Consent Agenda Items:

	a.	AI-52405 Approved	Disbursements for the period ending July 19, 2022, Auditor.

	b.	AI-52419 Approved	Amendment No. 5 to Professional Services Agreement and Business Associate Agreement (Contract No. 2017-249) with Jerry Barnett, R. Ph. to extend the contract for one (1) year through and including August 31, 2023, and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same, Health Care.

2.			Executive Session Items:

			Executive Session, in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Government Code.

			The Board reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed in this agenda, in the order deemed appropriate, as authorized by Chapter 551, Open Meetings, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.0745, 551.075 and 551.076, or to seek the advice of its attorney and/or other attorneys representing the Board on any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the Health Care Advisory Board under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code or as otherwise may be permitted under chapter 551.

			Any action resulting from the executive session.

For the upcoming fiscal year 2023, I respectfully request the renewal of the professional service agreement with Collin County for Jerry Barnett, R. Ph.. The cost of Jerry Barnett’s service agreement is a budgeted expense that would not require any additional county funding. Jerry Barnett provides services as a pharmacist for Collin County Health Care Services (CCHCS). Because CCHCS maintains a Class D pharmacy, we are required to have a pharmacist perform various functions in order to meet our statutory requirements for our various clinics.
Purchasing Department Action
Request Health Care Foundation consideration and any action regarding approval of Amendment No. 5 to the Professional Services Agreement and Business Associate Agreement for Pharmacist Services AGR 2017-249 with Jerry Barnett, R. Ph. to extend the term through August 31, 2023; and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same. mlm
