The Engineering Department requests approval of two roadway easements, two roadway crossing easements and three temporary construction easements with KCS as well as the payment for these easements. These easements are necessary for the construction of the grade-separated overpass that crosses the KCS railroad north of State Highway 78 for the Park Blvd Project. The easements have been appraised and valued at a total of $915,686.00. The two roadway crossing easement documents will be included in the finalized Construction and Maintenance Agreement; however, their metes and bounds are included in the packet for reference. The City of Wylie will be taking the original easement documents to their February 28^th Council meeting and will provide the signed original shortly after the meeting. The originals executed by the City of Wylie will be provided to the Judge for execution when they are received from the City of Wylie. In addition, the Engineering Department is requesting authority to transfer the funds from the 2018 Prop B Discretionary account to the Park Blvd Right-of-Way and Construction accounts to cover the deficit of funds. Recommended Action: It is requested that the Commissioners Court -authorize the County Judge to execute any documents required for this transaction on the County’s behalf -approve the payment of two roadway easements, two roadway crossing easements and three temporary construction easements with KCS in the amount of $915,686.00 -approve $828,331.00 transfer of funds FROM RI18000B 4025-750300013-809901 (Contingency) TO RI18004CO 4025-750300013-809682 (ROW) -approve $9,171,669.00 transfer of funds FROM RI18000B 4025-750300013-809901 (Contingency) TO RI18004CO 4025-750300013-809280 (Construction)
